Oh man, Pokémon was one of my favourite games, mainly because it was one of the two gameboy games I had. The other was a Lego Bionicle game, which I got stuck on so I never really played much of it. I had Pokémon sapphire and now I can’t play any other pokemon games unless it’s the Hoenn region. I dunno, I the only genres of video games I really enjoy are platformers and fighting games and the occasional puzzle games. Well enough of that, let’s start!
The starter Pokémon is the one I should talk about first right? Well when I first got a look at all three starters, I thought that Treecko looked cool while Torchic and Mudkip were more on the “cuter” side of the scale.
I remember liking him because dude was in his name. LOL
The hardest thing to ever catch as a kid. Love the yellow on brown though.
How’d I catch Abra? With this awesome Pokémon! I thought his ability was so overpowered back then.
With ninja in its name and since I grew up with Naruto, there’s no reason why I wouldn’t love him. Basically the greninja before greninja.
I thought his design was so different and unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. Plus he has gems as eyes!
When I first saw this Pokémon in the intro before the start of the game, I instantly wanted it. I love his design so much.
Dragons are awesome, especially when Spyro the Dragon was your childhood. I just really love the colour scheme on Salamence; the red wings on a blue body.
I think I really liked the shiny version because he looked more metallic.
The last thing I remember doing in Pokémon Sapphire before I lost my Gameboy Advance SP was trying to catch Latias… Latios? I’m pretty sure it was Latias. I was using my overpowered Trapinch, but turns out it was too weak to face Latias. I really loved the colour combination of white or black with another colour, I thought that was the coolest pairings ever.
Not that much of a fan anymore, but it’s nice to reminisce.
